Resumen:
While Megatron and a convoy of Cobra helicopters retrieve the Ark from the Canadian wilderness, Destro, the Baroness, and Zartan use hang glinders and night-vision glasses to infiltrate the Silent Castle. With Zartan's shape-changing skills, they quickly overcome the Cobra security forces and sieze the castle.
Cobra Commander directs Megatron and the Ark to Millville, a small town in the heartland of America. Though it appears deserted, the town is actually a Cobra outpost, and its citizens have been turned into mindless servants. As the convoy's people and cargo are being unloaded, one of the citizens falls out of his daze and attacks the Cobras. He is quickly subdued, but not before Dr. Mindbender's cryogenic capsule is cracked open. Mindbender wakes, alive once again, and is amused by the latest turn of events.
Cobra's arrival into Millville is seen by a nearby G.I. Joe surveillance team. A recon team is sent in via the city's drainage system, with the G.I. Joe Ninja Force sent in for support. Once they're inside Millville, Snake-Eyes leads the ninjas to the town hospital, where they spy on Scarlett's hospital room -- just as she is confronted by Dr. Biggles-Jones, who accuses her of being a Joe double-agent...
In the streets of Millville, Cobra Commander tells Megatron to transform into his tank mode to avoid being conspicuous. Seeing this, Tunnel Rat passes the news up the chain of command, and a hyperspace signal is quickly sent to Cybertron. There, Bumblebee reports the news to Optimus Prime, who prepares to mobilize a team to stop Megatron.
Cuando este número se imprimió, el nombre del cómic se cambió temporalmente a "G.I. Joe Starring Snake-Eyes and Transformers Generation 2".
El Arca se vio por última vez en el número 79 de la serie original de The Transformers, bastante dañada tras estrellarse. Megratron comenta que la escondió y la reparó durante estos años.
La transmisión de los Joes a Cybertron también aparece en el número 1 de Transformers: Generation 2.
